This piece was an invitation to the national network of community foundations for an event. It was also a tongue-in-cheek introduction to the city, and an invitation to do philanthropy differently: to shift power from the hands of traditional philanthropists into the hands of the people.

This piece was not only a retrospective, but an important opportunity to tell the story of community philanthropy: positioning its core identity as progressive and adaptive, to inspire current leaders to share similar values.

Toronto Social Capital
This short film is one part of a comprehensive digital, print and in-person campaign to launch the first ever social capital primary research project. The purpose of the film was to make concepts and data accessible to the public, and bring the issues to life.

MISCONCEPTIONS
This piece is one part of a donor education and fundraising campaign. The purpose of this film is to myth-bust some of the harmful stereotypes or misconceptions that philanthropists have about the nonprofit sector. The objective was to inspire more giving to grassroots organizations.

This piece is one part of a donor education and fundraising campaign. The purpose of this film is to use a leading-by-example strategy of philanthropist influencers who embody progressive values, humility, and a wide range of life experience to inspire traditional philanthropists to adopt progressive giving strategies.
